The UN General Assembly adopted a resolution by consensus that the 9th of September will be the International Day to Protect Education from Attack.

The resolution presented by the State of Qatar called by Her Highness Sheikha Mozah bint Nasser/Chairperson of Education Above All Foundation. 9th September is the beginning of an annual opportunity to unite together to protect education.

The UN Secretary-General, Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, and Mr. Mohamed Banda, President of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly, as well as high-ranking officials will participate in this virtual event.
