HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the State of Qatar’s representative for Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Dr. Mutlaq bin Majid Al Qahtani, met Thursday with HE Director-General of the OPCW, Fernando Arias.

H.E. Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al-Qahtani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, met with Mr. Derk Boswijk, Member of the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) Party and Member of the House of Representatives of the Dutch Parliament.

The State of Qatar participated in the 30th Session of the Conference of the States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention (CSP-30), which was convened in The Hague.

The State of Qatar won membership in the Executive Council of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) for the 2026-2028 term. This was declared during the 30th Conference of the OPCW States Parties, currently convened in The Hague.

H.E. Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al-Qahtani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, met with H.E. Mr. Rits de Boer, Inspector-General of the Netherlands Labour Authority.

His Excellency Dr. Mutlaq bin Majid Al-Qahtani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, inaugurated the first Capacity-Building Program for Judges of the Supreme Judiciary Council of the State of Qatar, organized in cooperation with the Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics of the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI).

His Excellency Dr. Mutlaq bin Majed Al-Qahtani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, met with His Excellency Mr. Jan van Zanen, Mayor of The Hague.

HE Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al Khulaifi met today in The Hague with HE Director-General of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) Fernando Arias.
