His Excellency Dr. Mutlaq bin Majid Al Qahtani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, has been appointed as a member of the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA).

The Court established in 1899 during the first Hague Peace Conference to facilitate arbitration and other forms of dispute resolution between states.

It is one of the oldest international institutions detected to resolving disputes.
